'Okay girls, just trying to keep it real with you on here. The first photo was taken first thing in the morning, after a workout, good lighting and no breakfast (yet),' Elena (pictured) explained - while the second picture was after she eats many foods

'Swipe left for the real me,' Elena began her post.

'Okay girls, just trying to keep it real with you on here. The first photo was taken first thing in the morning, after a workout, good lighting and no breakfast (yet).

'Second photo is me most days after I eat most foods. Bloat baby is real!,' she continued.

While the Sydneysider admitted that historically she's been quite lucky and not struggled with food intolerances, around a year ago Elena started to experience bloating after eating.

'I actually would LOVE some help/guidance from anyone who has suffered from this and now has it under control,' she said.

'Do I see a naturopath? A doctor? Ask Google?' I take probiotics everyday and try my very best to stay clear of eggs, dairy and sugar (my three big triggers).'

In spite of this, the 34-year-old regularly ends up with a swollen and painful stomach.

'I try to be active most days, eat relatively healthy, take my vitamins, get my eight hours sleep, drink loads of water and still have my bad days,' Elena said

Elena said that in order to combat her 'painful' bloating, she has discovered that taking a vegan chocolate Women's Best protein after her workouts works well with her stomach.

'I try to be active most days, eat relatively healthy, take my vitamins, get my eight hours sleep, drink loads of water and still have my bad days,' she explained.

'I will try my best to get to the bottom of this and will keep you updated with what I find helps me to keep the bloat baby under control.'

Elena's followers recommended reading the 'Gut' book by Giulia Enders, while others said she should cut gluten, wheat and grains as much as possible from her diet.

'Research FODMAPS!! I have the exact same problem,' another added.

Speaking about her typical daily diet, Elena (pictured) revealed it's all about eating the rainbow and as many colourful fruit and vegetables, lean meats and fibre as possible

Speaking about her typical daily diet, Elena revealed it's all about eating the rainbow and a vast array of nutritious foods:

'[I nourish my body] by fueling my body with colourful foods,' she told MoveNourish believe.

'Loads of fruits and vegetables, lean meats and fibre. I also like to treat myself too (I have the world's biggest sweet tooth).

'The trick is to not let it ruin or take over your whole day or whole week! One treat every now and then can't undo months of healthy eating and exercise.'

When it comes to workouts, the 34-year-old favours yoga, running, coastal walks and hikes.
