Many Kenyans are in the habit of carrying several of their important documents in their wallets. This is a very risky habit that might lead to frustration, especially in the case that one is mugged by pickpockets. However, below are some of the things you should never think of carrying in your wallet;

1. Identification cards

National identification card, school ID or even work ID should never be carried in a wallet. If you happen to lose these documents, you risk disclosing your sensitive information that might lead to your bank accounts being illegally accessed or even criminals using your details to impersonate. All this will get you into unnecessary trouble.

2. Receipts

Bank slips in your wallet can expose your account information. Professional hackers and impersonators can use those small bits of information in your receipts to steal your hard earned cash with ease effectively. Crooks might use the information in your bank receipts to convince unsuspecting customer service attendants to divulge more details thus jeopardizing your account security.

3. Debit and Credit Cards

These cards portable and can easily be stacked in a wallet. However, having them in your wallet is not one of the best things to do. Debit and credit cards are just like cash since they can be used for monetary payments at a number of joints. Keeping them in your wallet will expose you to possible loss of money from your account if at all you lose it. Besides, it might also expose your personal details to fraudsters.
