TRENDS: the play, Our son the minister, soon to be out, for the second time.

The award winning play, " Our Son the minister" is set to be presented by Beeta Universal Arts Foundation, for the second time at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island in Lagos.

The play, which is a masterful work of political satire written by Paul Ugbede and produced by the award winning actor, Bikiya Graham-Douglas.

The play, tells a story of Doctor Makoji, who secures a ministerial appointment but discovers that his family and friends have made plans on how to share the expected sizable financial benefits he is set to bring home.

Shockingly aware of  their plans, Makoji decides to turn down the appointment, setting off a chain reaction within the family.

It starred Patrick Diabuah, Soibifaa Dokubo, Inna Erizia, Chris Iheuwah, and Biodun Kassim, among others.

Directed by Kenneth Uphopho, the play is set to thrill theatre lovers at the Terra Kulture Arena all weekend – from today till Sunday (November 9 – 11, 2018).

The play is part of the MTN Foundation’s Arts and Culture initiative for the last quarter of 2018 which the telecom giant is supporting.

It will be recalled that the initiative, which had produced crowd-pulling shows such as Fela and the Kalakuta Queens, Legends: the Musical and Life in My City Art Festival in Enugu, seeks to sponsor various art, drama and music productions across the country regularly.
